It was a cold, dark place that smelled of mildew and rot.
It was a disgusting smell that lingered in the air and my clothes.
I was in a box going up.
The only thing I saw above me, were red lights.
Like a target.
I was approaching it a very high speed.
I gasped once I realized this and stumbled backwards, hitting the wall with my back.
I sank down to the floor and closed my eyes.
And with a loud bang and buz the box stopped.
The once dark box was greeted by warm sunshine.
I squinted at the light.
I made out faces of girls.
One of them jumped down into the box, and had her arms around my shoulders.
"Welcome to Group B, sister."
And in one small tug, I was out of the box, and into my new home.

That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. The drawling series of clicks was only making my heart beat faster. They were getting closer. I took off running again, faster this time. I couldn't stop running. If I did, surely I would die.
