Crime had died down and the town lived peacefully with heroes becoming more of a mascot rather than actual crime fighters. Kaminari had made a decent life for himself, not having to worry about villains and evil. However, on a random day, the sudden supernatural death of the second top pro hero rattled the town. A familiar man who Kaminari had watched grow up in the corner of his classroom. Villains were back and it left everybody in shock.
