For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. Poetry's Tale to Tell
One sample of my work (Note not all poems will be so serious, some are story like others are light hearted): "Every day, something happens... Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around... Speak out, you will be heard...! The era of bullying will be no longer...!"Completa

Drops of Poetry It's raining outside my window Just like my emotions inside me The taste of the salty rain and sorrow Every problem falls on me like rain I catch it with my hand Turning it to rhymes and names I'm soaking wet from where I stand I don't care if I'm under a storm All I know is those little drops are stories Every day I learn new things from this horror But I can turn them into drops of poetries. Unthinkable
She didn't mean for this to happen. Maybe it was the venomous thoughts that infiltrated her brain at that exact moment. Or maybe her sub-conscious self was preparing for this day forever. Words of life
This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear.
