Steve Rogers, America's 'golden boy' lost everything when he got frozen in time during the war. Constantly pained by the memories of what he left behind, he's not sure if he can open his heart up to anyone ever again.
Growing up in The Red Room, battle-hardened spy Natasha Romanoff knows that showing people your vulnerable side means getting hurt. But even though she knows that no one will be able to erase the pain from her past, a certain somebody might just make it bearable.

Romanogers: Cold as Ice
First, this is a fanfic for Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and Steve Rogers/Captain America. Second, this will kind of go through the MCU timeline but not a lot.
