As paranoia spreads and the shadows' hold tightens, the townspeople must confront their inner demons-before their reflections consume them entirely.

The monsters from the shadows are emerging and taking control of the world above theirs. The angels that are sworn to protect the children now fight against them in an all out war to stop them. Sadie, a young, 7 year old girl, now must help and try to save her beloved world from the clutches of the monsters.

In a world teetering on the brink of ruin, shadows conceal more than secrets-they hide predators. Two best friends: one a science/history geek, and the other a daredevil who is always down for any challenge or new adventures. One chosen for her knowledge of ancient ruins, while the other is chosen as a well known survivalist. Together the pair travel on an expedition with a small military escort, other science nerds, and other miscellaneous sorts. Their mission for their boss with deep pockets? To explore an ancient, abandoned planet for potential human colonization. However, they soon realize the planet is not as abandoned as it seems, as they begin to fall victim to parasitic serpent-like aliens. But wait, there's more. Invisible deadly forces, AND unidentified monsters in the forests? What is to become of our colonizers as they become stuck as extras and then mice in this game of Cat and Mouse?

From the dark something emerges. The shadows have evolved into living embodiments of nightmares. When the world falls apart to the darkness, how can you stand strong in the light?
