In the dark of night, as dark monsters attack the imaginations of children and their creativity across the world, four teenagers are chosen as guardians to be at their side and do battle with them from beyond the stars.

                                                      ****

Dalemont Height is your average suburban town, filled with kinky shops and a tiny theatre where groups of friends can go watch together. The people there were remotely close, and that was what the whole town was: everyone knew each other. However, that was quite different for four teenagers who were stereotyped at their high school. Victoria, Johanna, Asher, and Jack were known by everyone who possibly lived in Dalemont Height, the average suburbs that most people come to start their lives - they all knew who they once were: a close-knit group, who mysteriously fell apart but seemed to be okay with who they are, and what they became.

But strange things are happening. Odd feelings of discomfort. They are beginning to feel their own existence. They feel a weakening of hold. And seem to be developing powers not beyond, but within their imaginations. And it all seems to point to one treehouse standing still in Asher's backyard, where it all started.

This story is my happy place; I do not plan on ever finishing it. It will go on and on like a soapie. Might break it up into volumes later. "Grab a bunch of broken misfits, chuck them in a tribe, add some glitter and loads of weird-as garbage, voila, you've got yourself a fairy tale... kinda... just... you know... minus the fairies..." Paisley Davenport ♫ When Willow Mayfair's life falls apart, her mother brings her to Briar Cove, the small coastal town where she grew up. Living with Rebecca's childhood friend, a new world filled with love, excitement, and friendship opens up for both of them. For everybody who also dreams of a fairy tale and won't care if the "knights" were a little dirty. Genre: Slice of Life/Romance/Humour This is a slow-burn journey through love and life, filled with an array of beloved characters, their sad moments, happy moments and a multitude of bat-sh#t crazy moments. P.S.: This is not a fairy tale... Thank you: Micaela, for helping the characters take on a life of their own and encouraging me to keep on writing. Phillo, for not minding reading girly stories... if it's to help your mom. Jeandré, your weird-as sense of humour and quirky feedback inspires me and keeps me going. ♫ This is a work of fiction. "He leaned in so close that for a second I thought he was going to kiss me. Then he pulled back and remained quiet for a little while, until he spoke in a low voice. "Marie, there's something I need to tell you." While average teenage girls have to deal with the stress of pop quizzes, cheating boyfriends, two hours' worth of homework, and choosing which Instagram picture makes them look the skinniest, Marie is far from a normal teenage girl. She has no idea what is happening to her as she tries to convince herself she's either going crazy or that these new abilities of super strength, sense, and controlling the elements are just unusual signs of puberty. Things start to get even more crazy when Adam Keller, an incredibly attractive new boy, tries to tell her she is the heir to the most powerful line of witches and that it's his job to train her to use her powers. Marie somehow finds herself in the middle of a love triangle and is forced to face conflicts that make her whole world shatter. What will Marie do when she confronts having powers, killing demons, and trying to avoid a boy that makes her heart flutter? Will she be able to walk away from everything she has ever known? I wrote this book when I was in middle school and high school. It was published my senior year of high school. You can buy it on amazon and barnesandnoble.com. I will be posting the prologue and first chapter to give you an idea of what it is about. This book is meant for middle schooler's and early high schooler's who enjoy paranormal romance, a strong witty heroin, and action.

Kira Villarreal was just a regular seventeen-year-old, living an ordinary life in a sleepy town-until the night that shattered everything. What was supposed to be a fun party with her three best friends quickly descends into chaos when gunshots ring out, and in the middle of the panic, something unimaginable happens. As a bullet hurtles toward her friend, time slows, and with a surge of raw power, Kira stops the shot in midair. That night, Kira and her friends' lives change forever. They soon discover they're far from normal teenagers. Each of them harbors a unique, untapped power, and together, they're something far more significant-the "Keys," beings destined to unlock the gateway between the human and magical realms. But with great power comes even greater danger. Hunted by ancient enemies, rogue sorcerers, and forces that want to use-or destroy-them, Kira and her friends are thrust into a world of magic and peril, where every choice they make could tip the balance of two worlds. As they grow into their powers, they must learn to trust each other and face challenges that will test their bond, their courage, and their very identities. Each revelation uncovers a new layer of the mystery behind their existence, but the deeper they go, the darker it gets. Old loyalties are questioned, secrets are unearthed, and sacrifices will have to be made. Can Kira keep her friends-and herself-alive as the weight of saving both worlds falls on their shoulders? Or will the darkness close in, forcing them to choose between survival and their humanity? With action, unexpected humor, and devastating twists at every turn, this is Kira's journey, where magic, danger, and friendship collide in ways no one saw coming.
