But all is not as glamorous as social media portrays. Each of the girls are complicated and with each of them keeping their issues under wraps, they begin to build their own warped perceptions on one another (don't worry, the omniscient narrator reveals all). Amelie is a relatable character for many millennials. She suffers from social anxiety, fearing awkward situations and questioning everyone's intentions.
