When a child is born, they are assigned a key. Whenever someone watches another die, they are required by law to take that person's assigned key. Society isn't kind towards those who have many keys unless they have a special jacket that proves an honorable reason for gaining those keys.

With the hunt for Bernie giving new purpose to Geoff's un-life, he and Naomi begin a quest to get back their cat. Battling skeleton pirates, climbing the sky ladder and facing off against the villain who took Bernie, Geoff is determined to find his purpose - or die a second time trying!
