Until he turned 16 years old, Adam Arkham was raised by convicts. He learned how to use a gun, and he worked for his parents as an assassin. After being put in child protective services Adam got adopted by the Troys. Now having to turn his entire life around, Adam has to try to deal with a most unfamiliar world of high school and sports, socializing, and parents who actually care about him. 
But when Exavir Hunter goes after Adam's parents, he is forced back into his life of being an assassin.
