Until he turned 16 years old, Adam Arkham was raised by convicts. He learned how to use a gun, and he worked for his parents as an assassin. After being put in child protective services Adam got adopted by the Troys. Now having to turn his entire life around, Adam has to try to deal with a most unfamiliar world of high school and sports, socializing, and parents who actually care about him. But when Exavir Hunter goes after Adam's parents, he is forced back into his life of being an assassin.

So when the story comes out of my inevitable demise - know that it was Axel Stone's words that slain me. Not his persona or his larger-than-life muscles -even though those are very nice- it was the way he cared for me. The way he set a fire in my soul, a flame to my heart. The way he anchored me.
