First of the Dream Log series. We had made ourselves dream journals since 2015 and decided to share it. The dreams may contain suggestive themes, strong language, and violence. When an imaginative person develops an illness, dreams can be a way of escape. Tales of make-believe and fantasy get mixed up with twisted reality, and sometimes it's hard to tell what's real and what's fake. This is a collection of true diary passages, poems and stories taken from the journal of a teenager with mental illness. Hopefully this might help spread awareness, or make someone realise that they're not alone with how they're feeling. Caution: Talk of suicide, self harm, death, assault and abuse ahead! May be triggering to some!

(edit) I forgot to add that this started out as a confessional journal about becoming clean after a 10 year + addiction to OTC cold meds, but that was not my style of writing, I liked the material so I wanted to expand it into a novel length work featuring the journal elements. To say this work is a roller coaster would put it lightly. Although there are elements of time travel I would consider my sudden transitions reality travel. I use actual experience and dreams as a foundation, then toss in some fourth wall breaking narratives (meta-fiction), with a sprinkling of facts and quotations from songs and factual articles. It tends to be written similarly to an essay sans the boring. I have been influenced strongly by Vonnegut and W. S. Burroughs , and a wide variety of album rock, and that bleeds through. The tags dystopian and dark humor describe the whole piece best but there is a lot of genre jumping. I've done a good deal of research, not just for factual things but for the type of writing I do. Although not technically fan fiction, there is a nod to Final Fantasy games. The cover photo is a shared copyright, Brian Barbour took the photo, I added treatments.

They say that when we dream, we connect with ourselves from other dimensions, access memories of our past lives, and even glimpse visions of our future-both in this life and in others. Disconnect | A Poetry Chapbook de Ithmam

***FULLY PUBLISHED*** Disconnect is an amateur project I've undertaken to explore an experimental genre of art- "Hyonagogic Poetry"- a certain poetry-writing style focused on reflecting upon the subconscious aspect of reality. Although, I'm attempting to redefine the genre in my own colors in this short collection of thematic poems I've produced otherwise known as a Chapbook.

These are collections of my dreams. I go through long periods of having no dreams so it's gonna be hella sporadic. Also I censored people's names/locations such as schools we went to so you'll probably see people named things like "Andy" or "Fengshi" Btw there's implied rape/school shootings in some of my dreams so be careful.
