Ryan had been dead for years, and now lived as an adopted spirit by the Bergara family under their last name. His best friend and co-host on BuzzFeed Unsolved and Watcher, Shane, thought he knew everything he needed to know about his friend, but clearly not enough. As being a skeptic and firm believer that ghosts were fake, it was hard to completely come out about Ryan's past to him. Unfortunately for him, the truth would have to be revealed at some point, whether Ryan liked it or not.
