Everyone in the town of Crasmere knows about the enchanted forest's portal that leads to the forbidden land of Segovia, which is rumored that once you go in, you can't come back out, it is ruled by an evil queen, and has several creatures and beings. When Princess Elowen Levesque's mother, Queen Aurelia Levesque, goes into the portal, Elowen's dad, King Origin Levesque, bans everyone from going into the enchanted forest. He gets a wall built around it, and has it blocked off.
As soon as Elowen turns eighteen, her and her best friend, Aurora DeVane, decide to go through the portal. They discover it's a magical beautiful land, but things turn dark quickly with dangerous mythological creatures and the evil queen. Will they find Elowen's mom? Will they find a way back?

Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid.
