Kassandra McCall is no longer a stranger to the supernatural world.  After she found out her older brother, Scott, was bitten and turned into a werewolf during his sophomore year of high school, she has seen many creatures that she didn't know existed.  Now, not much can faze her.
That is, until another boy comes back to Beacon Hills after being away for eight years, looking to become part of Scott's pack.
Theo Raeken has changed a lot since he last saw Scott in the fourth grade.  Can he be trusted to protect the pack and follow Scott's lead?  Can he prove that he can be part of the pack?
What will happen when Kassandra meets a chimera?
