I follow an artist by the name of vinnifantastic on Instagram and I came across a sketch (unfortunately it violates WP content guidelines, so it can't be shown here) he posted which spurred an immediate desire to write a back story to it.

When The Raven's Feathers Fall
Grim doesnt remember anything if his past. All he does is work but tgat all changes when he has to go to a school to watch his next victim. He starts feeling things he shouldn't and his past starts coming back to him. Filled with terror and rage he begins look to his work for the release he needs. Raven hasn't had a good life but it starts to change the day a new kid, Grim, shows up. Grim doesn't really talk to anyone he just stares, but soon he becomes irritable and Raven takes notice. When we were talking about our future jobs we all were waiting for Grim to speak, the answer he gave was terrifying. I decided to follow him one night and what I found should have made me hate him but I felt like I could understand him...I wanted to talk to him and be his friend. Now that I think about it, it probably wasn't the best of ideas but I don't regret it for one minute.Kumpleto

A collection of stories based of my dreams and nightmares. Recently I've been having vivid dreams and nightmares that seems recurring or just memorable. Either caused by my anxiety or troubles that I don't acknowledge. People always say that there's meaning behind dreams and I'm here to figure out what it means or just to share an interesting tale. Some people have wacky dreams but for some reason mine seems to be pretty creative and straight forward that's good enough to write a story for. That's what I use my dreams and nightmares for, inspiration. Hopefully you guys enjoy these short and easy to digest stories. When Amelia woke up finally it felt like eternity. As she opened her heavy drawn eyelids, only darkness embraced her and raw smell of a chilly winter evening. She could feel a different taste on her lips... something bitter... something metallic.. pain. And then she realized she is dead!! Only two days ago she had everything... a wonderful family, a loving boyfriend and a job that pays off her rent and now....now she is, well, dead!! What happened? How did it happen? Who did this to her? So many questions yet no answers, just a dark truth prevailed. But she will not leave so easily. No, not until she gets her answers.
