Nicole Winters' mother had been brutally murdered right in front of her eyes. Even though years have passed after her mother's death, the memory of that night is still fresh in her mind, with every small detail pricking her subconscious like a thorn pricks the skin. Nicole begins her new session at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with high hopes but after the arrival of a certain fair haired, dreamy eyed stranger, sinister things start happening and her macabre past once again resurfaces. "You know why people call me the devil?" His breath fanning over my ear. "It's not because I am a sinner." His harsh breath comes out in pants, showing me how equally he is affected as he continues. "It's because I am capable of making innocent people commit sins."
