Nicole Winters' mother had been brutally murdered right in front of her eyes. Even though years have passed after her mother's death, the memory of that night is still fresh in her mind, with every small detail pricking her subconscious like a thorn pricks the skin. Nicole begins her new session at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with high hopes but after the arrival of a certain fair haired, dreamy eyed stranger, sinister things start happening and her macabre past once again resurfaces. Will Nicole be able to escape her bloody past a second time or will she succumb to it and end this life of hers that has become a game of cat and mouse?
