All Blackpaw has ever wanted was to fit in with his clan.
Son of the LunarClan leader, Venomstar, and the former warrior Honeysong of AuroraClan, his heritage has caused him to be placed in a terrible position. No matter how much effort he seems to put into blending in, he's always stuck out like a sore-thumb - literally, he's bigger than everyone in his clan.
However, it soon becomes clear to him that fitting in is only one but many of his problems. When the four clans are cursed with the longest and harshest leaf-bare known, each clan suffers terrible losses as chaos ensues.
