I've always thought that I was someone special.

That I was destined for greatness.

That I was a cut above everyone else.

That I was what people strived to be.

I've always thought of myself as the absolute best, the one standing on top, the one who emerges victorious.

But the truth was...

I wasn't.

When everything else around me didn't go the way I wanted it to, I started to lose hope.

I began to think I really was the disappointment everyone thought of me as.

I felt like everything was finally over...

Until I met someone.

Someone I never would've expected to be so important to me.

Someone who never doubted me and instead, acknowledged me.

Someone who believed in and put their full trust in me.

And someone... who gave something I loved the most - math, a whole new meaning.

Meet Ren, a young, academically inclined student who seemingly innocently loves and dreams to be successful in the field of Mathematics. Ren starts off his highschool life with a blast by getting himself a girlfriend during his first year, but everything took a turn for the unknown when he started to question everything around him (including their relationship).

It all started when he came to see his school's sports event, where he met someone he never would've dreamed of meeting.
