Mature
Kaitlyn is not your typical goth girl, she sweet and bubbly. Her favorite colors pink but you'd never catch her wearing it. Like other teen girls she's always been insecure about her body and personality she considers herself boring and fat. A combo most people wouldn't want to date or get to know unfortunately.

Haley is not your typical jock. For one, she's a girl. Butch and masculine, yes. But still a girl. The first female quarterback of her town and she's lovin it. Not very many insecurities to speak of for her. Your typical player Haley's kissed probably every girl willing to kiss another girl. Among other things.... ;)

Kaitlyn and Haley have been friends since sophomore year. When Kaitlyn went to jail for the first time (being a somewhat rule follower that she is) Haley was incarcerated too and they bonded. Only to meet up in the outside world.

Basically a book about two lesbians who become friends and maybe eventually something more

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
