Deliquesce

Rose ran her fingers down his cheek pausing at his jaw. She leaned close sniffing the pain and a whiff of something else..pleasure perhaps? Her fingers slowly wrapping themselves around his neck. His breath hitched. The darkness in her eyes swirling, dancing almost intoxicating. He couldn't look away. He should have run screaming. Anyone else would have. Not him. He had chained himself to her.

The sheer terror he had felt when she shifted had turned into something more. Something more primal and carnal. It made his knees weak. He let himself drop to his knees, surrendering. Her grip became tighter as she looked down at him. Part of him wanted to look away. But his eyes were glued to hers, the swirling darkness in her eyes stilled as they went completely black. He leaned forward intending to taste her. That's when everything went black.
