In a world where every person is slotted into one of three categories – alphas, omegas, and betas – Harry Styles is absolutely gutted when he turns sixteen and, surprisingly, presents as an alpha. Only two years earlier, his best mate Louis had turned out to be the same. Now, though, Harry isn’t sure he agrees with his body’s chemistry that’s supposed to be telling him to mate with an omega. Instead, his mind and his heart are demanding for him to mate with Louis, and he knows that’s not exactly ‘normal.’
As hard as he tries to fit his gender’s mold, there’s a part of him that’s constantly nagging at him, a part of him that says his gender is wrong, wrong, wrong. It’s the same part of him that insists Louis is destined to be his mate, despite both of their genders and the societal law that legally forbids a relationship like theirs from existing.
Harry is only sure of two things at this point: that he loves Louis more than he could ever love anyone else, regardless of gender, and that the gender he was assigned isn’t the gender he was meant to be.
