When Cara accidentally saves a random boy from a monster she is plunged into a whole new world full of strange beings, mysteries and problems. Right at the center of all this chaos is her dad who had died over nine years ago or so she thought.

If that wasn't enough her younger brother has been kidnapped and being held hostage for a price Cara doesn't even know how to pay. 

In the end whether she likes it or not Cara is going to have to make a choice and with the weight of the world on her shoulders it is not going to be easy
