This short story was written for a competition when I was in year 9; we were given the theme of a lie to base our stories on. My entry came 1st place for my year group so I thought I'd share it with you. This was written around the same time as I started my novel so my writing style here is similar to the one I'm currently using. It follows the thoughts of a woman in old age as she decides to confess what she never told her best friend.

The Tale of Dragons and Dungeons
The result of me and a couple of my friends playing Dungeons and Dragons. After a while, we just decided to make it into a story. I wrote basically all of it, and my friends made requests. My life
I'm 15 and this is My Life. Crazy and Unexpected things happen but I try my best to deal with them. It's kind of a diary type of story but also just first person story telling, confusing I know.
