You remember the time Evan said something about Habit-his other side. That he's dangerous. And that you should give up on the friendship and run while you still can. You didn't believe him then. But now you do.

Book One in the Lycan Chronicles Evander Rue had his entire life planned out even before he was born. He grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth and parents who never had time for him. I love it :D - WARNINGS I've received some feedback that the relationship portrayed is abusive; just as a trigger warning. There is no (with a single exception) pain for the sake of harming anyone. I'd say it is more on the forceful side, especially with the vampire-setting, and the vampire may act questionable and egocentric. Also, depression and I'd say a suicidal tendency do come up (briefly) because of these thoughtless interactions. And, uh, "Stockholm Syndrome" was mentioned, but also in the context of an overall enjoyable read. - Finished story. There are two sequels. The first is called "Blood Sucker" and about their life after the epilogue, and the second one's called "My Blood Donor". It tells the story from Dael's POV (not finished). XOXO T.Complete
