Ruby is 16-years old and is spending her summer vacation with her elder sister and friends in the capital city of Argus. They will be staying at her uncle's friend home, Mr. Ozpin. They are all expecting nothing but endless days of pure fun before going back to school and finishing their senior year at Beacon Academy. It's all happy times and summer days filled with endless fun!

That is until Ruby is sucked into an ocean adventure when she discovers a hazel-eyes merman living near the Port of Argus. She names him Freckles and the two become friends after he saves her life from certain death. Ruby learns he has lost his memories and so promises him she will do all she can to help him recover his past life. All the while keeping him a secret from forces who wish to dissect him and keep him in a laboratory.

Will Ruby be able to help her new friend or fail to protect him? Join Ruby and her new friend as they uncover the truths of his past, all the while as they explore the depths of the ocean that brought them together.
