Katsuki decided to become the number one hero, even deciding to outrank the symbol of peace, to become the one Izuku admires again, like when they were children. Coming to the realization of his true feelings for Izuku, he begins to bully him mercilessly to cover them up and try to deny them. Things become a bit messy when Katsuki gets in the way of a ray from a man who's quirk is to make his target only able to tell the truth for 72 hours. [Warning: there is some swearing in this! Falling (Depressed Deku Fanfic) (COMPLETE)
Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning! This story will contain depression, suicide talk, torture (not explained explicitly), violence, and a whole lot of angst! Also, this story won't contain any ships. What Happens in the Pit
BakuDeku - Midoriya Izuku found himself quirkless and quickly at the non-existent mercy of his classmates as he entered middle school. Every day he survived, he was beating the odds, even as the bruises teased at his nerves through his skin, taunting him long after his tormentors' fists had last made physical contact. When he found the fighting ring, he expected to just become a living punching bag, really. He didn't expect people to look past his quirklessness and take him under their wing, essentially training their own competition. He didn't expect to get good at it, and he didn't expect to be noticed when he did. When Izuku and Katsuki got accepted into UA, the class cheered for Katsuki and jeered at Izuku for daring to pretend to be in the same league as someone like Katsuki, even when Izuku only managed to make it into general studies. So, Katsuki went to UA, and Izuku quietly said, "thanks for the opportunity, but no thanks," and switched to an advanced online schooling option. It was just the rule of the world, and rules were rules. Some things couldn't be helped. Besides... He had a feeling UA would ask too many questions about the constant bruising blooming so beautifully across his face that Aldera staff had so pointedly ignored. And even if UA didn't ask questions about the bruises and abrasions on his face, they definitely would about the ones across his busted knuckles. In the Pit, Midoriya Izuku didn't exist. In the Pit, he was Viper. In the Pit, Viper was a quirkless fighter who still faced prejudice and bias, but everyone fought quirkless in the Pit, so at least it was a level playing field. In the real world, Midoriya Izuku put on a smile and explained his bruises away on him being quirkless and finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. In the Pit, Viper fought back viciously quick and calculating, earning every bruise and giving back just as many. And sometimes he even won.Complete

Life's been cruel to Izuku Midoriya. After having to bury his wife and daughter, his only other child gets put into a quirk-induced coma that they can't wake her up from.
