Similar to the Curse of Contradiction, which was harbored by the black wizard Zeref and the fairy tactician Mavis, is the Curse of Compassion. As punishment for falling in love with the black wizard, Mikal is cursed; the more she falls in love with someone, the more pain will be inflicted by her touch.
By mere coincidence, Mikal meets Rogue Cheney, a Sabertooth member in Fiore. After deciding to join the guild, Mikal soon realizes she's falling hard for the shadow dragon slayer. Will she be able to break her curse before she gets too close to him, or will she have to bury her feelings and leave the guild before its too late?
