'What did you say?' He asked with a deadly calm voice.

'That you have no manners.' I snapped back at him.

He shook his head. 'About my mother?'

'Oh, that she's so busy with social events that she didn't teach you manners?' I asked with a smile but a huge smile spread on his face.

'Atleast my mother was busy to not have time to teach me manners.' He folded his hands and turned to a side, 'What excuse does your mother have to not teach you manners?'

I stood there dumbfounded at what he said.

A Love Unarranged!!

9 parts Ongoing

It's a story of promise of arranged marriage sealed with tears of joy, amidst whispers of childhood dreams. Two mothers, inseparable friends since youth, vowed to marry their children. Ansh Chaturvedi and Mishika Bose, mere names etched in fate's ledger, unaware of the destiny awaiting them. Tragedy struck when Ansh was just twelve, snatching away his mother's loving embrace. Grief and anger ravaged his young heart, fueling a deep-seated resentment towards his father, whom he blamed for her untimely departure. The once-vibrant boy grew into a brooding soul, his smile a rare sighting. Years passed, and the promise lingered, a testament to the enduring friendship of the two mothers. Ansh's grandmother, ensured the vow remained unbroken. Now, on the cusp of adulthood, Ansh and Mishika stand at the threshold of a union arranged by many things but love. As they prepare to embark on this journey together, the shadows of Ansh's past threaten to eclipse the promise of their future. Will the light of love and forgiveness pierce the darkness, or will the weight of Ansh's unresolved grief shatter the delicate bond between two strangers, destined to become one?
