Lillian always wanted to leave after high school and go to New York especially because of her bad relationship with her mother.
But the day before her flight she's kidnapped and brought to a secret Academy for people with angelic blood. Now she has to figure out who she really is and learn to deal with her mother who is the Academy's principal.
And then there is Nathan. He's not only the person who kidnapped her but also becomes her combat instructor. And the chemistry between the two is undeniable. But there seems to be something in their way every time the y get closer.
She has to learn to control her powers, that are stronger than anyone else's. More and more secrets about her unravel with time but maybe there are secrets that better stay hidden.
