Sokka thought the day was going to be good... until he got to the tea shop and saw a certain Fire Nation prince. In a desperate act to not be thrown in jail for the rest of his life, Zuko tells the Water Tribe boy that he can follow him around to prove that he doesn't want the Avatar anymore.
What follows is a string of events that form an unlikely bond between the two boys.

Little bit more context, this is a canon divergent AU where Sokka stays in Ba Sing Se instead of Katara in book 2. Nothing before that point was changed.
So this is a fanfic from my AO3. It's still a WIP but there are hardly any Zukka fics on this site that I just wanted to share mine.

this is a zukka fic, again. sokka and the gaang all attend the same college, it was just pure luck. there's a tea shop on campus and one of the students in some of sokkas classes works there. sokka is constantly visiting and getting tea, even tho it is very well known to his friends that he REALLY hates tea. do, why does he go? (cover art and characters are NOT mine, the idea for this stemmed from an instagram post. i repeat only the IDEA not the plot or story line.)Complete

Takes place maybe 5-6 years after ATLA arc. Aged up. Edit: Zuko doesn't have the best people skills, or leadership skills to be honest. But guess who does? It may take some time for him to realize it, but Zuko enlists Sokka to help with another redemption arc for the Fire Nation. Working together, learning together, loving toge- who said anything about that?! Wait, are there feeling here? Feelings can't get in the way of the mission...world peace is at stake! (Also, how I want to envision the bridge between ALTA and LoK to be established. All it takes is some gayyy) "It's the meeting with the other nations. They all think I have all the answers!" Zuko threw up his arms in aggravation. "I don't know what I'm doing!?" He slumped down onto the foot of Sokka's bed, holding his face in his hands. Confused at the candor of his former rival, he lifted a hand to pat his shoulder. One tap...a hesitation, then a couple more taps, "That's rough, Buddy."
