Aunt May was overseas for a hard-earned vacation, and she was to be gone for 7 months. Originally, the idea was for Peter to stay with Tony and the Avengers at the Avengers Tower and Compound. But alas, the team was sent for a month-long mission, and unfortunately, Peter wasn't allowed to go. Natasha being Natasha, called her good friend Melinda May, and requested that her team take care of Peter.
