When Eiji Okumura lands in Tokyo with a bunch of missed calls and texts from various people all talking about a certain Ash Lynx being found in the New York Public Library on the verge of death, he's too disoriented to process anything.
But, thank the gods, his precious Aslan survives the attack. He's back on his feet in no time (if 4 weeks is anywhere close to fast) and misses Eiji like hell.

Eiji is torn apart by the news of Ash's death. He locks himself away and begins to slowly fade away. When he finds out Ash is still alive he couldn't be happier. While walking passed an open alley they run into an 11 year old boy running from a group of men. Ash and Eiji stop them and help the kid back to one of their old hideouts and take care of him. They figure out his name was Josh and that he was kidnapped by those men. He got away only after they r@ped him. Upon meeting this broken and traumatized child, Ash feels moved to help Josh and other kids like him.
