When Eiji Okumura lands in Tokyo with a bunch of missed calls and texts from various people all talking about a certain Ash Lynx being found in the New York Public Library on the verge of death, he's too disoriented to process anything.
But, thank the gods, his precious Aslan survives the attack. He's back on his feet in no time (if 4 weeks is anywhere close to fast) and misses Eiji like hell.

We all know how sad the ending of banana fish is. But, there are some clues that indicate ash is still alive. And so, I'm writing the story of how he wakes up in the library, fakes his own death, and goes to Japan. Eiji is torn apart by the news of Ash's death. He locks himself away and begins to slowly fade away. When he finds out Ash is still alive he couldn't be happier. But now, after so long, after almost letting it all go every morning and night, how was he supposed to pick himself back up and just forget? He's been just as gone as Ash was.
