What The Elders Saw is the story of 11-year-old Oliver who is orphaned overnight, only to discover that his grandfather runs a bookstore nestled in an Old Age home on a remote cliff. He discovers that strange things are afoot at this home where he ends up. Murders, conspiracies and potentially paranormal incidents brew in this seemingly quiet place. In fact they escalate until an ultimately cataclysmic event forever alters the world order forever and Oliver and his gang of oldies are at the centre of it.

An excerpt from the book

Some say that the man trembling with fury, choked his own mother to death with his bare hands and threw her off the balcony. Her last words were, "It wasn't my fault son, I did what the raven told me to."

The blue-penciled version is that the man and his wife seething with silent fury moved out of their home, sentencing the crone to loneliness in life and death. Hikers reported to have a seen an old woman perilously bent over her balcony, cawing at the ravens. A few days later the old woman was found spread eagled below her balcony.
