A young teen grieves the death and murder of her older brother Dima Randle. In the process she develops a rough depression that also links back to her Russian mob parents who abused and neglected her and her youngest brother Steve. They were arrested for the murder of their oldest son Dima and abuse of their younger children. While finding her only option to receive the life she wishes, Ivanna Claire attempts suicide by rooftop. While she knocked unconscious, Ivanna Claire lived in a coma for the next two years. Upon getting out, she meets face to face with her younger brother, who helps rebuild her life without most past details that he still lives with and protects her from. Darry Curtis can't help falling for the damaged older sister of his younger brother's best friend, but Darry struggles juggling relationships with school, football, his rocky relationship with his parents, and his two younger brothers.
