In a world of magic, ghosts and treasure, Minette Nadine is only a small part of it.
Down every alley way, every road you take, in the forest or the market, there's always a chance of a lurking soul, a spirit. But not just any spirit, a spirit animal, one that comes from within.
These creatures are divine in the night, running to and fro, with not a care in their wispy world. These animals make great gifts, but are very hard to come by.
They can heal the wounds from war, or feed the ones in hunger, they can grant wishes, but for only their owner. They can grant your deepest wishes, the needs and the wants of the people who spend their savings on not shelter and food, but spell books and potions, on new cloaks and wands.
Give them a place to sleep, feed them more than just the scraps off your empty plate, be kind enough to love and care for them, and then, and only then, will they trust you, find you as their home, as their family, as one of them.
These are rare, rare as in, the greedy people of the town aren't the owners, but a few, the couple of nice ones in the community, will get their wishes, and be called the owners.
Many aren't worthy of a protector, but those who are value it. Take it for granted even. But remember, they can leave at any time, and with great power, comes greater responsibility.
Ivelle Preston had a perfectly normal life. She grew up in small English town, and she always wished she had a more adventurous life. Her wish came true when she moved to London. Her life changed in a few month. Someone killed her mother, but the police says it was just a robbery. In her last letter her mother asked her to find one of her old friends Margareth Lloyd. After the letter Ivelle finds herself in a whole new world, surrounded by magical creatures, and in the middle of an upcoming war. Will she be able to save, the world she barely know, or will the evil win?

"You are possibly the worst apprentice I've ever trained." laughed the man.
"Thank you, for the encouragement. " she rolled her eyes and lifted her sword. "Let's get back to work."
"That's the spirit!" the man drew out his sword "Ready?"
"Ready like hell."
