The Stranger had visited Leanne Dayne as a child, and he had vowed to her that he would visit her again, when she was just as powerless as she was in that moment. He warned her that he would always visit her, in every stage of her life and that she could not prevent his visits.

          And because of the Stranger's warning, Leanne never truly loved anything or anyone strongly enough, that was until she was sent to the remaining Targaryen in exile. Leanne tried not to, but she was powerless to resist the sweet girl that was Daenerys Targaryen, so she prayed to the Stranger to not touch her, to hurt her as it pleased the Stranger but to not touch Daenerys.

          And so the Stranger did, he hurt Leanne in ways that she was unable to prevent, in ways that brought her even more suffering physically. But Leanne never cursed the Stranger, instead she thanked him for leaving Daenerys live longer.

          That was until Leanne starts to love someone other than Daenerys. And so the Stranger offers her a choice, her new love or her husband, a choice that Leanne didn't hesitate to make, the last choice Leanne made before she decided to stand up against the Stranger.

          Burning as brightly as a Star in the sky, Leanne rises up to defy the Stranger, the entity that she'd been so terrified of before. She rises up and proves him that she is no longer powerless and that he cannot take anything from her anymore.

          Leanne Dayne over comes her fear of the Stranger and ascends to the rank that her family once had, burning brightly and wielding a sword as she fights Death and protects those she loves in a deadly dance with the Stranger.
