A year ago when my parents barred my agent from booking anymore jobs because they wanted me to go to school I found it quite amusing. It was pointless for 3 reasons
1. I had been homeschooled since I was seven,
2. Performing was my life, I couldn't imagine a month without 'lights, cameras and actions',
3. It just didn't happen to super famous 16 year old actresses!
When Avery meets Luke and James, who have been best friends for years she finds herself right at home. The boys make her feel welcome and take care of her.
Luke is the golden boy, he plays sports, gets amazing grades and comes from a respectable family. James has made it into Wycombe Academy by the skin of his teeth. With no money and an alcoholic dad things always only seem to go badly for him.

He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order.
