Light in the Shadow - Book 1 This story follows Will and Nico right after the end of BoO. I have read a lot Solangelo stories all of them are good, but, none that have really gone the way that I have imagined so i decided to write my own. BTW, I have never written anything before. So, i apologize in advance if i make any mistakes. The characters in the story are of course entirely owned by Rick Riordan without which we would not be here reading this today. Please feel free to leave comments. I never wrote anything before so any advise would be appreciated. I'm not entirely sure how the age of consent works in all 50 states so for the purpose of this story Nico is 18 and Will is 20 (just in case :). This story has man x man content. Enjoy! / WPOV- I watched in awe as the carriage door opened and the guards carelessly hefted a small boy out. He appeared to be unconscious and I panicked when I saw the blood dripping from his jet black hair. "Be careful with him! He's hurt!" I yelled. They only shrugged and placed the boy in my arms. My heart surged. After one look at him, I saw how completely beautiful he was. \ NPOV- I scrambled to my feet, terrified of what the prince would do with me, but my head pounded and I felt my legs shake and give out. I shut my eyes tight as I started to fall, but just before I hit the ground, a pair of strong, but gentle arms wrapped around me, yet again. I opened my eyes to see the Prince's worried eyes as he held me steady in his arms.Concluida

Pease note that this is a work of fiction. Nothing in this story happened in real life, I created all events that take place in this other than what happens on June 26th, but even then it's bent to relate to this story and so that it's a tad bit original. Thanks. This story is not for everyone, due to mentions of self harm, suicidal thoughts/attempts, drug use, death, and [badly written] erotic content. Will Solace, son of Apollo [the sun god] often feels as if he is alone. He feels as though there is no one out there for him and everyone he knows secretly dislikes him. After one particularly rough day, Will decides that he can no longer take all of the hate and teasing that he goes through on a daily basis. Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades [god of the underworld] is a quiet boy that likes to keep to himself. After his sister passed away many years ago, his life has taken a dark turn, leaving Nico to only see the bad things in his life. Nico has very few friends, a half sister that he loves dearly, and a crush on one of his only friends. Wow, super sucky story description!! The fic is better than the description makes it sound by the way!Concluida

Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). This is also still a first draft, so you know, it's not perfect. All rights go to Rick Riordan the troll who stoll (geddit?) my life. The first chapter is based on a some fanart (it was a cartoon) I read but the rest are my own ideas. Also, the original image on the cover is not something I drew (I wish). It's Viria's.
