Stars Aligned

There was a small town. In the town there lived a species. Skeletal, humanoid-like was their appearance. They were called "Engine types". The town was called Macusa. A town mostly filled with mechanics. This town was a special one... all the little boys there were being raised up to marry a goddess. But only one boy would get chosen out of the fifty that were there.
My mother was a healer. She was one of those types to be a rare occurrence. Normal Engines are born as mechanics. My father was born normal but later resigned since he found a passion for music. They were raising me up humble and loyal to all the rules that were put down. I was a 'mess' by their words. I did not listen or enjoy the rules they ordered me to follow. They gave up on teaching me and set my final rule. When kings, queens, or even gods crossed our town, I would get sent to the forest to wait until the guests of the town leave.

My name is Clocks Ford. I was five when this happened to me... it changed the path of my life completely. Now every time I remember it... it shatters my heart even more...
