As we all know Kobe Bryant, his daughter and 7 other people have recently passed away. During Kobe's memorial service I was absolutely moved by MJ's speech and it is what inspired me to make this book. Kobe was Michael's little brother. Michael was Kobe's older brother. They shared a brotherly bond that seemed so genuine even through a screen. I hope you enjoy the stories and the childlike pleasure you may receive from them.
-Of course I do not condone inbreeding in real life so we will not have any sex in this story. Or in any of my stories for that matter. Imma kid so I'm gonna write like one.

Making the transition from middle school to high school, learning about girls, coping with childhood obesity, dealing with racism, feelings of alienation, and strict parents are just some of the problems Richard must overcome alone; that is until a surrogate older brother steps in. ***Brother's Keeper is my first attempt at writing a novel. Previously all of my works have been short stories or poems. After some modest success in the #EWA2017 General Fiction category, I've decided to make some minor edits and repost the original chapters along with some of the later chapters .
