After a long day Nick, Shark and Ghetto were traveling back to the CDC with the new supplies they managed to find for Professor X. When  a large horde rushed through separating the three friends. With nowhere to go Nick rushed into a building and trapped himself in, figuring there was another exit. While realizing his mistake walkers surrounded the building and streets, making an escape impossible. To top it off, the other exit was also forcefully sealed. With both exits gone, and surrounded by death Nick was forced to settle down and wait out the horde. However, he soon discovered he wasn't trapped alone as he originally thought.
