Thistlekit is a young cat who has never known her father. The group of cats she was born too refuses warrior names so they can eat. She wants to find out who her father is but when the tensions between her group and another, the barn cats have to step in.

Wrenpaw is a strong apprentice. He was born in the clan group and strives to be the best. But he feels an unknown force pull him towards the groups borders.
