Collection of Short stories written to/from songs.

There are many questions and lessons in life, as well as many ways to tell them.
There is always a story behind everything you see, hear, smell or touch. In this book, I will be focusing on the art of music to tell a story. Stories of lessons to be learnt or experiences that were had.
They can be based on this plane or another but the aim is the same, it is about the journey.
Join me for some short stories that come from different songs, let's explore the experiences from the characters created by the bands we most love.
You are allowed to share your experiences with the songs, your opinions of the songs and even some songs that inspire you.

This book comes from my passion for music and writing. This concept is something that I've been doing for years and I'm sure will continue to do for years to come. I love doing this with all my heart so I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. ( I will also try to link the songs with every chapter it corresponds to).

"If you asked me three months ago what heartbreak was, I would tell you it's losing somebody close to you due to unspeakable circumstances. But right now, in this moment, I would say it's you. I would say it's the feeling I got in my chest when I realized I was out of time. When I stood in the rain and yelled for you to stay, but all I saw was your back. I would say heartbreak is lying in bed at two in the morning, watching my ceiling fan go around and around, wondering why you couldn't stop to listen. Two seconds. All I needed was two seconds to say the words. All I needed was to seconds for me to tell you I was in love with you. With everything about you. With the way you move, and the feeling of your arms around me. With the feeling of your chest vibrating as you laugh. Heartbreak is falling in love with everything about you, but having the words permanently stuck in my throat." _____ Gracelyn Levinsky grew up with Daniel Grey. She has always looked to him as a brother, but when she escapes from her abusive Mom and moves to the same town Danny moved to when he was ten, she finds out that he's in love with her. After countless attempts to get her to feel the same, Danny gives up. But when Grace realizes just how much she does love Danny, words can't help her because he shut her out of his life completely. How do you tell somebody who you can't talk to that you're in love with them? Simple. You force them to listen. WARNING: THIS STORY INCLUDES THE VERY ATTRACTIVE DANIEL GREY WHO REMINDS ME AND EVERYONE WITH OVARIES OF A SOFT GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPY THAT IS SLEEPING ON YOUR CHEST SO PLEASE BEWARE THAT YOUR OVARIES WILL EXPLODE WHILE READING THIS STORY! AN: please don't steal this story. I'm working/have worked really hard to create this and develop the characters and story line. This is solely made up out of my mind. The cover was made by @nerdfpiper and I highly recommend her!

Music artist Penny knows all about her bass. A cynic, in a little too perfect but almost boring life with a constantly absentee husband. Her life takes a twist when she lands herself a wonderful opportunity at a studio that allows her to breathe outside of her monotonous life. What starts as a diversion becomes her focus, as a series of events constantly keep her hooked with her coworker who she finds perfect. Is this going to be just another heartbreak situation for Penny? An open-ended fling? Or would she end up doing something that none of them had hoped for? °°°°°° "I wonder if he was thinking the same. How would it be if I was his lover? I don't want to be his lover, I deject. I want to be his muse. Someone who strikes him, delights him, entice him. I'll wander in his mind, like freedom, like bondage, like a hurricane. He will crave for me, lust for me, lean on me and touch me. I'll be his dark little secret, his thirst, his passion. Someone he'll hold high and fly. Someone for whom the seven heavens he'll deny. I want to be the lyrics of his songs. Songs on which he would croon and swoon. He'll tell me I'm his melody. I'll be his adventure, his inspiration, his mystery. I'll be the endless words of his poetry. I'll be his ground and his wings, the rhythm of his strings. Let's quit the truce, I tell my heart, I don't want to be his lover, I want to be his muse." °°°°°°
