Collection of Short stories written to/from songs. 

There are many questions and lessons in life, as well as many ways to tell them.
There is always a story behind everything you see, hear, smell or touch. In this book, I will be focusing on the art of music to tell a story. Stories of lessons to be learnt or experiences that were had. 
They can be based on this plane or another but the aim is the same, it is about the journey. 
Join me for some short stories that come from different songs, let's explore the experiences from the characters created by the bands we most love. 
You are allowed to share your experiences with the songs, your opinions of the songs and even some songs that inspire you. 

This book comes from my passion for music and writing. This concept is something that I've been doing for years and I'm sure will continue to do for years to come. I love doing this with all my heart so I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. ( I will also try to link the songs with every chapter it corresponds to).All Rights Reserved

Six months have gone by since that day, and our tension is growing with more animosity each second. Now, we're doing activities together, and Christmas is my favorite holiday. He's not screwing this up for me. After a snowstorm starts hitting, though, I end up stuck in the middle of nowhere, out of gas in my snowmobile. I'm terrified as the wind starts picking up and snow starts whipping my face. I thought he wasn't listening. That he didn't care. So, why did he become the one to save me? Why does he look so distraught? His words say one thing, but his eyes are telling me his words are lies. Raven is lying to me. He loves me. But he doesn't want me to love him. All I want to know is why because I can't breathe without him anymore.

A band. A bond to last a lifetime. The summer before their senior year, and Nick's freshman year of college, everything changes when Nick suddenly overdoses without warning. Now, the three of them are forced to rebuild themselves. Their loyalty to the band, themselves, and music is tested with the arrival of their new drummer as they all struggle with their own personal challenges. Will they be able to pull through? Will they be able to listen to their souls, themselves, without all the extra noise and pressure of the world around them? TW: This story contains mature themes, including: mentions of self-harm, suicide, non-sexual nudity, guilt, grief, loss, depression, alcoholism, neglect, body dysmorphia, smoking, Christianity, and underage drinking. This story is not intended to glorify these things in any way, it is meant to address these issues as the characters learn to navigate past them. This story is about more than just this, though -- this story is dedicated to my love of rock music, and the healing powers music can have. This story is about growing up, and finding your place in the world, and learning to deal with heavy things such as mental health disorders, and how music can be a sort of self-healing and self-reflection, along with therapy.

Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license. But like my best friend used to say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught" and I never did, so now I just chat up with them to pass some time or to help someone. When I heard of a singing competition I thought it couldn't hurt. I mean I might be able to win a nice prize and get some more publicity for my music, which was more important to me then some cash prize but it would be nice.

I prefer to live through the romance stories I weave and post online. Hardly anyone reads my books, even if they're free, but I do have one fan, and he's supported me since I started writing two years ago. Except, my writing started to take a depressing dive when I realized that you simply couldn't prevent nor protect your heart from falling for someone. For him. For the one who had no interest in me. When I fell in love with him, I thought we had a chance. It was an accident. Turned out, I couldn't be more wrong. He doesn't want me, and I wasn't supposed to have him.
