"What's happening," Hajime asked, his eyes flicking to the figure in the alley. The point where the stranger had grabbed him stung.
"God wanted me dead, now you get to find out why." The stranger stood, angling himself between Hajime and whatever was in front of them, ignoring the wound in his side.
And that's when all hell broke lose.
(Alternately - Hajime did not expect to meet trash while taking out the trash)
