Wyatt Gillespie is a good boy; he gets good grades, he's loved by everyone, and he's got a heart of gold. Everyone who knows him could say that he's a real-life angel. By looking at him, anyone can see he has a great life. Everything is perfect, until it isn't. One day, his picture-perfect life gets turned upside down by a hurricane. A hurricane that comes in the form of fellow classmate, Riley Myers. Known as Edgewood High's "bad girl," Riley is the polar opposite of Wyatt; she hardly shows up at school, gets into all kinds of trouble when she does, and her regard for anything or anyone is basically non-existent. Riley is a bad seed, and everyone knows it. When the two cross paths, it isn't smooth sailing at first. Neither of them are sure why or how the other could live the way they do, and it leads them to constantly be at odds. But as they spend more and more time together, Riley and Wyatt soon begin to uncover things about one another that causes them to wonder: Can a good boy and a bad girl be each other's best teacher?

Dawn is the home town good girl with a spunky attitude and compassionate heart. So much like her father and struggling with the estranged relationship with her mother, her life is about to be turned upside down. With only her loyal friends and family to rely on, she will be pushed to the breaking point. Nathan, the resident bad-boy, returns home in a unique arrangement that forces him to build up his defensive walls. A violent past he has been trying to lock away, comes back to haunt him and threatens to break apart everything he has worked for. What happens when these two fiery personalities meet? They hate each other – at first. They have a way of pushing each others' buttons and getting under each others' skins. They each think the other is conceited and selfish. Then they confuse each other with small acts of kindness and unexpected moments of affection. These moments are dashed away by their antagonism, stubbornness and pride. They are falling in love, but neither will see it if they can't get past their own selfish attitudes and personal demons. Only time will tell if they can reach out from under the surface and find the love that brings out the best and worst in each other. © 2012 Amanda Nichols All Rights Reserved.
