Adeline clenched her fists and gritted her teeth as tears ran down her face. She couldn't take it anymore. She was exhausted. She slumped down the wall onto the floor, repeatedly mumbling "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you" as he pressed her against his chest and ran his fingers through her hair.
She eventually stopped struggling and went limp in his arms, squeezing her eyes shut and praying for this nightmare to be over.

Adeline Summers is a new trainee psychologist at Hellingly Asylum- a mental asylum for the criminally insane.
