"I've never desired anything more..." I gave a pause that came with doubt. "But I just want to get away, from you and this life." I could tell he was taken aback and hurt, it wasn't intentional, nothing ever was with me.

Nettie is a 25-year-old girl with a tragic past, her recent death of her parents caused her to drop out of college and move to rural Indiana with her best friend Leander, an unknown vampire. She meets the charming Quill and spirals in a love triangle, where she must pick between her desire of Blood or God.
