Dragons have gone extinct in the last hundred years, or so people think...
Kaida was abandoned by her parents and left on top of a volcano. She was bound to die, if not for help from a dragon that lived in the stomach of the volcano.
She grew older and in silence with her dragon father. Then one day, when she was eight, the earth kingdom village at the base of the volcano was raided by the fire nation.
Though, along the way she is discovered by Fire Lord Ozai, and shipped off to the palace....
When her true adventure begins.

When Aang is finally able to contact his past lives again, many friends have been lost, and Aang is left so embittered that the past Avatars decide, in order to help Aang regain his sense of compassion, to send him to another world to relive the events leading up to the catastrophe again. Only he finds that this time he is brought to a distorted reality, where he must fight alongside Zuko and Azula for the war-torn Fire Nation Islands, against the savage Water Tribes. The Tale of Kadia (ZukoxOC)
Fire is deadly and can leave a path of destruction along the way, fire can scar. But so can Water. Like Fire, water can freeze into ice and can leave many cuts and scars. Both can be deadly when misused. Water and Fire can't be too different. Or are they? Zuko is a fire bender, but not just any fire bender he is the son of the fire lord. Kadia is a water bender, the daughter of the village Chief. When events lead to Kadia being captured by the fire nation Prince she realises that although Fire and Water are often referred to as opposites, they might not be so different after all. Kadia learns to realises that the many lessons she learnt growing up where nothing but prejudice. Or where they? Can she get over her emotional scars and learn to heal? Or was everything she witnessed an elaborate act all along made by the fire prince and his uncle? An act to trick her in letting her guard down and betray her siblings and the Avatar. Will she be able to trust again or does this scar run too deep to heal?
