Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. I have decided to force myself to write every day. I've tried to start a novel countless times, so I have reached the conclusion that it's better to write short stories. I was looking for Short Story challenges to make it exiting, and I found one that I liked; writing one micro fiction story each day, it doesn't matter how many words it has or what it is about, but, I have to finish one every day. I decided this was the best moment to start, it being march of 2020, and me being in quarantine with nothing to do. This is why this book exists, each day I will write a piece of micro-fiction and post it in this book. I believe that I will get better through time if I follow this challenge. Some day I may decide to stop it, though hopefully it will be in a long time. (by the way, it's not complete but I marked it like that because the chapters don't compliment one-another, so each story is basically done by the time I publish it) -Lilly Rose
