The Sneople have always been considered an urban myth, by the people of Earth, except for conspiracy theorist like Ronaldo Fryman. And in Homeworld, they are but a forgotten memory, known only to the oldest Diamond. But being forgotten does not mean the Sneople themselves forget. They have been ruling behind the scenes over multiple planets civilizations. Their sinister rule, only hindered by the oldest of the Diamond Courts, the Court of White, who themselves are long forgotten battling the unseen enemy at the fringes of the Universe. But with new policies thanks to Steven, things are about to change. Hidden enemies are about to be revealed, and ancient loyalties about to be broken. All paving the rise, of the hidden ruler of the Sneople or the Serpentine as they call themselves. The rise of the first organic Diamond hybrid, Diamondback, son of the oldest of the Diamonds, the forgotten Black Diamond.All Rights Reserved

Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible! AU, takes place right after 'That Will Be All'. I DO NOT OWN STEVEN UNIVERSE! REBECCA SUGAR DOES! ONLY CHARACTERS NOT MENTIONED IN THE SHOW BUT ARE IN THIS FANFICTION BELONG TO ME! Their best minds struggle to decipher it however, and the project is shelved within Area 51 due to it being "too advanced." for the current minds. One man however, brings together a secret division of scientists, with the sole purpose of "making the world a better place". -------------- Fast forward to the year of 2013, and a young boy in a star shirt is rushing down the boardwalk while talking to three multicoloured women. This boy, as known by pretty much everyone in the town, was Steven Universe. After catching his breath slightly, Steven notices an older boy stealing a loaf of bread from a nearby grocery store. Determined to stop the apparent "criminal behaviour", Steven rushes into action, startling his three female companions, and soon all four are chasing the older boy.
