When glamours Marina and her neglectful mother move across the hall from the Parker residence after a traumatizing divorce and the death of a love one, Marina finds herself making friends with all sorts of unique people. First, there's responsible Cindy Moon who Marina plays soccer with. Then there's her new neighbor, Peter, who is always running off doing who knows what.
